First time under the Benz...success!

Today was my first day working under my '95 E300D since its purchase in late January. My work wasn't anything too complicated. I replaced my front flex disc, changed fluids, and filters.

I was dreading the flex disc replacement after reading some posts here and my experience with other vehicles. The job really wasn't bad at all. Having access to a lift makes a huge difference in getting at what you are repairing. Nevertheless, I still was pleased at the accessibility of the fasteners holding the flex disc in place.

I am very impressed with the overall design and ease of maintenance of the Mercedes. I have never seen a car like it. I know that I am preaching to the choir, but I am now a Mercedes believer. I don't know what took me so long to get to this point.
