240D shifting problem

I have been replacing parts one by one in the attempt to get smooth shifting for automatic 1982 240D. The vacuum hoses and vacuum switches have been replaces as well as the transmission oil and filter. Shifting is better, but I have a ways to go.

The transmission will often just briefly stay in 2nd for about a second and then shift to 3rd. Sometimes its shifts well and usually just at awkward times while accelerating.

I am still looking for ideas to make it shift better. One part appears warn with grooves "lever with cam" Part No. 6160702721 that I have read others say that this could be the problem, however I am having difficulty finding this part.

Any ideas? Thank-you.
