What type of service work did you do? What systems were effected? Was the fuel system emptied? Have you "cracked" open the injector lines at the injectors to see if there's fuel coming out when cranking?

Describe what you are referring to as bleeding and priming.

I called your shop, and left a message with my number.
Should be an easy issue.

Have a great day.

The above it most likely the problem. If there was any air left in the Fuel Injection Pump Housing when you started to crank the Engine it is most likely now trapped in the Fuel Injection Hard lines between the Fuel Injection Pumps and the Injectors.
As stated above loosen all of the Injector Hard Line Nuts up at the Injectors and crank the Engine until you see a steady amout of fuel comming out.
The above assumes that there is Fuel already in the Filters and in the Fuel Hoses all the way back to the Fuel Tank.
If for some reason those hoes were diconnected drained and reconnected it is going to take an unspeakable amout of pumping on the hand primer to bring Fuel up to the Fuel Injection Supply Pump.

Next question; is there Fuel in the tank?

More data

I talked with him..
Engine was running good when it came in.

Service = fuel filters replaced with new.

* Pre-filled filter with fresh dino diesel.
* 300 strokes on new style primer pump, heard bypass squeaking.
* Did try to bleed at injectors, no effect.
* Fuel tank is full of fresh diesel.
* Tried WD40, engine cranking seemed to slow.
* Using a HEAVY battery charger 150+ amp.

He is:
* installing lift pump repair kit MB# 000 090 02 10
* Checking fuel level in the large filter = possible fuel starvation
* Checking vacuum shutoff = remove hose and oil fill cap and crank
* Etc, etc, covered other data on the phone.

What did he say happend when he tried the WD40?

Did the Engine even cough or attempt to start?

If the car will not start on WD40 how will rebuilding the Fuel Supply/Lift Pump help?

The injection pump was suffering fuel starvation.

Rebuilding the Fuel/Lift Pump restored fuel supply pressure to the injection pump.

I have installed a lot of these repair kits the last two years.
