Part #'s please

Hi Guys,

I need the following parts for my car ASAP and was wonderin what the parts #'s are:

1.the tube between the vertical turbo drain pipe, fitted at the oil pan, and the turbo (an elbowed piece that attaches directly onto the turbo)

2.the air tube between the air filter housing and the turbo (a large plastic tube with seals on both ends that bends almost 180 degrees).

You can get a free subscription to the Mercedes Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) and look up all the part numbers you want. The link is http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/welcome.jsp. They ask for a credit card number but only to prove you're a USA resident--EPC is free to USA residents only. I used to pay $20 a year and it was still a bargain but free is even better.

Thanks! Now I just have to see if Phil has the parts I need.

Also....I've been meaning to get my hands on a FSM for a while. Where's the best place to get it?

AFAIK, the paper FSM is out of print, occasionally available on eBay. I don't know if the factory ever issued a CD-ROM manual for the 300SD. Ditto Haynes. You could probably make do with a 300D manual, at least the engines would be the same.
