First one of these I've ever seen

I wasn't even aware they offered a diesel in the 140 chassis.Is this the same 6 cyl turbo used in the late 80's 126's? Living in CA I've seen quite a few of the E320 models,but never one of these.
I like the styling of the 140's especially the coupes.They just scream "serious german engineering" to me.I understand though that they are very complex cars.Would the diesel be any less so?

They have the same 3.5L OM603.97x engine as the late W126s (.970 in the W126, .971 in the W140). Not many W140 diesels were imported. As I recall there were around 400 in 1995?
