hey, old hot and often is back... not heard from larryB in a while!
welcome back!
anywhoo. I can't imagine somebody reaching into a full revving motor and popping the injector lines off... I can barely get them off with a 17mm wrench with the motor stone cold... man it's hard to get in there!
perhaps after working on IP's have the nuts loosened before you start the motor... and be ready to yank them loose... I'm thinking a board over the turbo inlet would be safer and faster.....

Okay a 17mm wrench. When you see it stamped on a wrench it's as I wrote it.

In most cases with a Bosch injection pump, if it runs away it is because the governor is at fault SOOOoooo........ the governor can't limit the RPM.

As I said, been there, done that!
