I know - what's up with that???

We were sitting around the Dell Diamond wondering when Tyler would show - knowing you made it to Jimmy's - and then figured you rode with the Dallas crew instead - I kept asking "Where's Tyler?" and just got blank looks

John in San Antonio

Well, he was certainly clean and sober when he left my house Thursday evening! Smelled like Italian food and bug spray though......

Yea, I married pretty far over my head. Good Christian woman too! She got me back to church about 10 years ago after about an 18 year hiatus. She's been a good step mom to my older two kids too, as well as super-mom to our daughter.
Now if she just had even an ounce of old MB compassion......

Well, it's always nice when Tyler is in Texas and fits a quick visit out my way into his schedule. Of course, it is often because he has some sort of MB candy for me.
Tyler and his "date" Julie {oh dear, I might be having a terminology mishap} dropped by this afternoon. I had to work until about 6:00 but raced home afterwards. I rounded the last corner in the road to my house and could see the distinctive properly round headlights of a W123 just in front of my driveway.

I had purchased the steel wheels in Tyler's great big giant parts thread, and can you get a better seller than one who will hand deliver the goods from Kansas to Texas? {OK, maybe Daw delivering to Michigan or wherever}
Well, wouldn't you know it started raining just before we all got there, so I gave Julie an umbrella and Tyler rigged up some kind of full body prophylactic.

I only wish I had gotten a closer up shot of Tyler and his rain wear, but he discarded it pretty quickly when the pics started.
We had a nice visit out in the garage while we watched it rain and enjoyed the swarm of mosquitoes.
My wife just had surgery Wednesday or we would have enjoyed a nice evening dinner with Tyler and Julie, but the visit was nice. I always enjoy seeing Ol' Turbo too, and his new sheepskins look AWESOME!!! Very nice quality it appears.
So, a nice visit, 5 steel wheels with lugs {for the white wagon}, a non-painted hubbie for China until I can run across a China Blue version and a good tire for the spare wheel. Quite an enjoyable evening I would say.
Come back anytime. The Bat Cave is always open......
