300D Vacuum hose mystery

Hi everyone-
I have two questions:
1) I checked the start of fuel delivery on my car last weekend. I get about 2 drips of fuel per second. I have a boost control set at 13 1/2 lbs. Is that setting correct?

2) After I put everything back together again I noticed a buzzing sound that seemed to be coming from under the hood on the driver's side when accelerating. When I examined it I found that a vacuum tube was disconnected from both ends. I determined that one end went to a device on the injection pump (not the ADLDA (Aneroid Compensator), put a device next to it (white in color) connected to the IP. I can't figure out where the other end of the vacuum line connects. Any help much appreciated.
Thank you.

Look where the vacuum line connects to the ALDA - is there a "tee" connection there with a line missing? If it is then that is where one end goes - the other end of this particular line goes underneath the center of the round blue item (about the diameter of a coffee cup) on the drivers side fender in front of the Klima relay. The part number for the round blue item is 123 300 11 33 - I forgot the proper term for it but it has something to do with getting the vacuum signal to the tranny.

If this ain't the place then look further behind the injection pump. There should be a white thing with a vacuum line connection pointing toward the drivers fender. This is just a vent to atmosphere. They came originally with a vacuum line vented into the passenger compartment.

There is a listing that contains a vacuum diagram for the 83 300D elsewhere in this section -- check it out and see if it helps.

The white thing on the IP is the vacuum regulator for the vacuum shift modulator on the tranny.

If the vacuum line is white it is a vaccuum supply line -- should have a "Y" in it, goes to vaccum amplifier (the blue thing) and to the regulator valve on the IP, and to tranny. May also hook up to vaccum regulator and IP. The connection to the main vaccuum line will have a restriction in it (yellow or white plastic do-dad the line hooks to).

I have the vacuum diagram for the 86/87 300 (603) -- I think it is different.
