Missed connections....

You were driving a 300D(I think) Creme, hazard flasers on with severe negative camber on I-40 in Arizona.

I passed you in a Silver metallic(non-MB color) 1989 560 SEL ,tooted and waved.
Looked to see if you needed help but didn't see a headlight flash, so went on.

Member here??? Hope you made it to where you were headed.

I'm in Amarillo TX tonight. Half way to GA. Sylvia is running fine.

Re: Missed Connection

Just so I can be sure that it was really you, tell me how many fingers I was holding up as you drove past . . .

I had an opportunity to meet Chadahar last night. After giving Sylvia a quick walk around, we head off to a local place for some food and beverage. I had already eaten; however, I'm always game for some pleasant, friendly MB conversation. Sharing a few stories helps take the edge off of the long drive.

And then the "unthinkable" occurred. A woman from across the way wanted to "move" over and sit next to Chadahar. He indicated to me that he was glad I was driving and we had parts cars to go view --- in the dark.

After a quick, sneek view of the parts cars, I dropped him off at his motel for a good night's rest.
