Denver body shops?

Does anyone have experience having a car painted in Denver? It's about time to have the 300D done, it needs a couple of small dings cleaned up and a decent repaint (faded paint). I'm not looking for show quallity, I actually drive this car. I would like to find something at a reasonable cost, probably in the $5k range, the places my Indy uses are significantly more expensive. I think I will have some time near the end of the year, so I want to start shopping around and get some estimates. Any suggestions?

you should do the prep work and then take it to maaco. you just make sure everything is clean and taped up so the over-spray doesn't get everywhere. i've used them before to paint a volvo 240 and they did an okay job. i took all the trim pices off, sanded, and primmed a few areas that i went trough. it looked better than before the car went in. i taped and painted the wheel wells when i got the car back. the whole project was under $500.

Thanks, but I don't gave the time or interest to do the prep work myself. I'm actually looking for something a little higher quality than Macco. It doesn't have to be show car quallity, but I want it to look as good a a well maintained late model Benz, and I don't want to have it redone in five years. I've decided on the price, now I'm just looking for the best value.

i did it bc a local vintage vw bug shop was using them to paint thier busses and bugs. i forgot that i also tipped the paint guy $100 to do a better job. he had just finished paint school. maybe i got lucky? the car looked fantastic!

I'm glad it worked out, I'm sure I could spend less and get good results. I just don't want to inverst that much time/effort. At this point, I just need to be able to drop off the car and hand them a check when it's finished.
