Most of the pen striping I have seen on these MB is that vinal tape, now
how classy is that .

I have always liked striping, though I wouldn`t admit it here .

It`s a personal thing I guess, either you like it or your don`t, kind of like
Hub caps or Bundts.

That at least can be relatively easily removed. When it's painted on, like on my late 240D it's hell to get off. And even worse if it's a metallic finish.
