So recently I replaced the seals on my rear taillights hoping that this would fix the water in my trunk problem, it has helped a lot but i have found another source of water.
The right rear of the trunk near where the hinge that holds the trunk open water is dripping down, the part feels like it is rubber. It is a rounded piece and looks like it may be apart of the rear window seal. Does anyone know what this part is, and is there any diagnosis on how to fix it. I am thinking about getting some silicone and caulking where the leak is, would this be a bad idea? Thanks for the input! -Dan
