Getting ready to put the motor back in (82 300D)
Getting ready to put the motor back in... all I have left is put the head back on and reassemble all the stuff that is under the valve cover - rocker arms and such.
For actually putting the motor back in, I am thinking of leaving the alternator, the a/c compressor, cruise control, exhaust/intake manifolds and the turbocharger, off of the motor, then install all these things with the motor in place. Less weight and fewer things to worry about... get the main task of getting the motor in, then add the components. What do you guys think?
