Clicking at startup
When I turn the key in my 84 300D to the glow plug position, I hear a fast clicking sound that I did not ever hear before. From what I have read so far, this is likely the glow plug relay acting up. The glow plug light comes on and the car starts just fine. Just to be safe, I opened the hood after the car started to make sure the clicking had stopped, which I believe it did.
Should I be thinking that the relay may be on it way out?

I'd check your charging system too... mine started doing that clicking sound before my alternator failed.
