What do you guys think? Yes its been in a wreck YES it has a clean title though and YES it drives ok and has a great drive train.

Dont need people to pic it apart just need to know if its too little or too much of an asking price.

Sure it's a fine asking price.
Some go for more, some go for less.
Don't over-complicate.......

I wouldn't get too hung up on the mileage - I'd be more keen to see maintenance records and paid up bills.

{Almost irrelevant information:- If only I could pick up a nice old Benz like that here for a similar price - asking prices for total basket cases are similar to that amount of money here.}

From what I see you will not find much better out there if at all in that price range. Pictures are decieving but in general the total milage wear items look under the 200k area anyways since you really never know.

If I wanted one this one would bear serious consideeration if overall I did not find something really bad. If indeed it is a 100 k mile original car not needing much you are getting a very good bargain in my opinion. Actually more than fair.

Remember if other people can examine it it will probably be sold very fast .Procastination does not always pay on good items . You have to jump before someone else does.

Dieselkraut,

In all sincerity, no BS? - If I were selling it:
I would ask $2,950.00 for it, and accept no less than $2,500.00 for it. And act bruised/injured that you had to come down that far.

If I were BUYING it?
I would not pay more than $1,500.00 for it, and act almost bruised - as if it hurt me to even think of paying more for it.

Wow there's a lot of acting bruised and hurt in there for $1000 - nice one - buying a car is always a pantomime!

It would depend on what KIND of a wreck, and where the car was hit and how properly repaired.

And of course how much rust. Hopefully none.

From the pictures it DOES look nice.

And as you know, it is one of the best cars ever made. By ANYONE, ever, and not just by Mercedes Benz.

Ok so heres the deal guys it MY car i was gonna fix up but i need the cash for another car so i cant sit on it. it has FOR sure been hit before or at least drove over something and car fax is dead on with the miles and the engine says it has that many miles so yeah i dont have the cash to fix it nor the time to put it on a machine to see if the frame is tweaked or what so im selling it as is.

i thought 1900 was fair incase it didnt move fast i can go lower.
