is there a difference between the 240D and 300D rear hubs?

Today I pulled off my bundts on the 300 and put them in storage, then moved the 4 steel rims with snow tires on them to the 300 from my 240. Bolted it all up, went to move the car, and bam! won't move more than 8 inches.

Thought maybe I had a long lug sneaking around, so I went around and verified every single lug bolt on the car between the 240D and 300D, and they are all the same length, all 40 lug bolts, plus another 10 in the trunk of the 300D.

After scratching my head for a minute, jacked up the car, and on both rear rims backed out the lugs about 1/4 inch, and viola! the turn normally.

I don't see any physical difference between the hubs, but something is different, since I was switching back and forth between bundts and steels on the 240 with the same lugs. Could it be a different parking brake hardware? Maybe something aftermarket is larger than OEM and hits the lugs? Its perplexing.

Im going to grind 10 down 1/4 inch so I can get on the road. Anyone else encounter this type of problem?
