beastly belt squeal

Installed an 80AmpBosch AL124X alternator from a '90 Saab 900S in the '85SD.

The alternator works great except that I get a bestial squeal from the alt belt ever time when first driving off for about almost a mile. The belts are tight so I'm wondering if the Saab's pulleys (which I kept on) might be slightly different from those on the original alt and that that's causing it. Any suggestions?

if you have the old pully, Take it off and put it on the new alternator and see if it helps
