Is there a trick to routing trans cooler lines?
I recently dropped the engine and transmission back into my '87 300SDL and I spent way too much time trying to get my transmission cooler lines back into place.
I got them close enough but they certainly aren't routed the way they came from the factory. I didn't attach them to the brackets along the oil pan because it seemed like I would have had to bend them (more likely break something). I know for sure that I did not bend them while removing them. I also tried the lines on both sides of the car, just to be sure, even did it twice because I thought I was going crazy. So everything is hooked up and nothing is leaking but I'd rather get these lines strapped down properly. Any suggestions?
