I like the addons such as better privacy and noscript - puts you back in control of your computer and which scripts can be run or not...

...though I must admit noscript takes a bit of getting used to!

Well, as I said, if you want a simple browser get Chrome - it hardly does anything...except browse!

Only problem is with opening big PDF's (and that doesn't seem to be a common problem) but I use IE for that ...just because it's already there...or else save and use Adobe Reader
