Top speed?

As I restore my 76 300D W115 I am driving it almost daily. What is the top sustainable speed of this car. Our tunpikes have a 75mph limit but most do 80-85. I don't wan't to blow the motor but would like to travel at a good clip. Can I do 75-80 mph, rpm wise for a long distance? I have the auto transmission.
