That's the part number for a 500g tub of citric acid from MB. I just flushed my 300D out with it. All I have to say is "Wow".

I took out the thermostat so the flush could work it's way through everything. Then I flushed the system with water and added the bottle of citric acid into the resevoir tank. Started the car up, held the RPM's at about 2000 for 15 minutes (temp got up to about 60-70C). I then shut it off and flushed out the citric acid solution. When I went in to put the thermostat back in the thermostat housing was a nice dull grey color instead of the brownish color it was before I flushed the system.

I still have to replace the waterpump, but the flush has made a substantial improvement already.

How much was the tub? And what are the specifics of the improvements?

The list price for the tub is $15 from the local MB Dealer.

As far as the improvements: The Thermostat housing had a nice dull grey color to it instead of a brownish build up of gunk. and the temp was a couple degrees less the what it was before. It also was more consistant as far as temp goes.
