1998 E300D Glow Plugs Stuck - Head coming off!
Very long story, but the short version is that the dealer is removing the head on my 1998 E300D because two of the plugs got stuck and broke off. The car has 208k on the clock, so I was wondering if there were any other things I should have done, since the head is off - thinking like timing chain, valve job, etc. The car runs real well, except for a little sputter around 2k rpm while shifting gears, but I'm pretty sure that's related to injectors, which I am having cleaned and pop tested/balanced. Any ideas are very much appreciated.
