You love IP threads...You love IP threads...
SO after a long wait I have a fit of time to mess with my 300td this weekend. I am going to attempt to install my IP.
IP is set from removal, Engine is at 24BTDC, how do I tell visually that #1 is at the beginning of the compression stroke? I did not take the oil lines or housing off, what are my chances of reinstallation without doing so? I know I CANNOT get the IP in with the bracket on the IP or Engine, I have tried...but has anyone tried to pull it through from under the car? Thanks and I hope I am days away from cruising down the road in this beauty before my current DD dies again and I have to put more money into a Mini van that is not worth the repair! Thanks so much always for the advice and wisdom!
