Quick Injector question - OM603 3.0L
I bought a brand new set of Bosch injectors, the whole assembly, not just nozzles. Is there still a need to take them and get them balanced before installing new injectors? Just checking. I've replaced nozzles and cleaned them in the past, but never installed fresh assemblies out of the box. Is there still a need to have them balanced as a set?
Thanks in advance as always.

I have heard new Bosch were iffy, not sure if that has changed. I pretty much always test 'new in box' items prior to install. I have had bad evap cores, alts, starters, list goes on and on.

+1 what Eric says.
Who knows where those pop pressures are. I've had new Bosch injectors piss a stream on the tester. Great way to destroy a pre chamber quickly. |

See if you can loacate a Fuel Injection Shop that will test them for free.
Or, maybe one of our Members in your Area has a Pop/Nozzle Tester.
