Engine R & R

Can anyone point me to a good DIY (with pictures preferably) of how to R & R an OM 617 Turbo motor? A friend of mine picked up a 84 and it needs some seals and such replaced. He wants to pull the whole motor and go through it off the car, and I agreed to help. I've pulled motors before so that is not too big a deal, I just need to know the best and easiest way (besides not doing it) to do it on one of these beasts.

Thanks,

Glenn

The simple answer is unhook everything from the engine and transmission, remove the radiator, attach an engine hoist with a leveler and pull it.

For more detail, this is certainly one of the best around

Not a lot of difference between the turbo and non turbo.

BIG THANKS for posting that link! Most info on engine removal I've gotten so far. Mine's a bit different as I'll be transplanting the engine so I'm hacking the wiring harnesses so I can splice them into the S10.
