I have an 84 300d with a 4 speed manual swapped from a Euro 1985 300d. When I went to Autozone, the only slave I could find was for an 83 240d. So I got the old one off and it wasn't that bad, did it all w/ a 12mm crescent and a 13 mm crescent and socket. But the replacement I bought will not line up with the holes for the mounting screws.

I'm going to check out car quest, maybe I'll have better luck with them. Any ideas as far as what year I should look into, I know MB used multiple 4 speeds in the w123s, maybe in 85 it was different from 83.
