Who sells a good compression tester fitting for OM617s?

I have a good diesel compression tester, (I think it's an OTC brand), anyways, I bought it years ago for working on International/Ford Navistar Powerstrokes. I have the adaptor/fitting for those engines. I need the fitting for our OM617s, any good source that has it? TIA.

Many Members have bought one of the Harbor Freight Kits that at one time when on sale were about $28 each. Since that time the price has risen some.
For 617s the kit has an adapter to replace the Injectors. However, that Attachement has a hollow area insided the decreases the compression a little.
If the 617 has the Pencile Type Glow Plugs that adapter can be used however, the angled Quick Disconnect that comes with the Kit has been known to break easily.
Some people have had issues with the Gauge itself and sometimes the Valve Stem Type Shrader Valves get burned up in uses and need replacing.
You already have a good gauge so you may be able to use that.

You can buy the Single Adapters (eBay sells them and I bet our Sponsor Sells them) that replace the Injector but a single one cost close to what the kit used to sell for and as imperfect as the Kit is it comes with a bunch of adapters.
So the Harbor Freight Kit is imperfect but cost effective for the owner operator of a Car.

You can see from the Picture I have managed to misplace the Hose that came with the kit.

I believe Harbor Freight also sells another kit that has more stuff in it.

Snap-on and Matco both carry the adapter you need. Don't mess with the HongKong Freight kit since you have a good OTC set.
