engine mount question
Hi,
Last time I had my 300D in at the dealer they said that the engine mounts looked liek they were going, but they didnt have to be replaced yet. Since Ill be taking it into the dealer again, I might just have them done, as I dont know when itll be in the dealer again, adn I dont want to do such a job. Id like to know about how much that would cost to get done, and how many different parts would require replacement. Thanks JMH |

I had one done for about $100 on my 240 D a couple of years ago by an independent. I checked on Fastlane and they have the motor mounts for $28/each and the transmission mount for $25. Doing all three or just the two motor would not add to the labor too much. No other parts are required - it's a simple job.
Good luck.
