Was just thinking about this conversion for an old scout. Old Gus at Pacific Fuel Injection (Bosch Certified) has been building pumps in the Bay Area forever and has an amazing array of flow benches etc. He is more than qualified to do any of this work and can machine just about anything . . he prefers stock but I believe he would do what you asked, but will typically warn at the same time and most likely would not want to be held responsible for what might happen to an older (or newer) engine -

In Europe they have a much greater concentration of diesels hence a greater market for rebuilders and service shops for the pumps... which implies more of those will do custom work.

I remember talk on another forum/list of a guy in CT years back who was supposed to be very good. He was Hungarian I believe. But that was long ago, he could be long retired by now.

We understand the risks with modified performance parts. Can you get Gus's contact info?
