om617.95X rebuild questions

Hi, I am setting up an engine, project creep has led to full top and bottom
rebuild. A few questions:

I showed the machinist the docs on prechamber and valve depths, he measured that I need the 3'rd oversize prechamber sealing rings. None of the usual vendors have this. Has anyone experienced this? Could this head have had such a busy life? The valve seats and valve depths look normal. I think I'll have to go back and double check this.

The oil pan has the cylconic oil separator fitting. I don't know what the "integrated supporting shell" looks like. Is there a standard way to plug this fitting? Is there another way to id this motor as .950 vs .952? If it is a .950, what do I need to do to bring it up to .952 performance?

I will need instructions on setting up the timing from crank to IP to camshaft from scratch, because everything's coming out before going into the washer.

thanks,
Stuart

For the crush washers the pelican parts guys can get them, just give them a call. They can find you any special order part

For the IP installation don't worry, it's very easy on a stand:

Set the crank to 26*BTDC, on the compression stroke
Set the cam to the timing mark
Set the injection pump splines to their respective timing mark (there are 2 positions-depends on the build date and serial # of your pump)
install the pump.

Then perform the drip tube timing procedure (fairly straightforward, you can make your own tool)

What Engine it is should be stamped on the Injection Pump side of the Block right below the top the block sort of in the middle.
