aftermarket splash guards or mudflaps for 123?

Im wondering if anyone has found non mercedes splash guards that fit the 123 decently. I know there are stock ones available, but I don't need the star on 4 more parts that local kids can try and pull off my car.

was wondering if there was any decent aftermarket flap that anyones used?

I just spend a bunch of money fixing rust on my fenders, and id like to add a little more protection

Not sure what you actually want.

Mudflaps aren't going to keep your fenders from rotting, you need better inner fender linings and/or better rust protection for that.

Mudflaps all too often they are a limited compromise as if they require that they be screwed into the fender well, so to some extent you are trading one problem for another.

I agree, drilling holes to mount the flaps causes another entry point for moisture.

Check out this list, should find something there.

Mudflaps

I don't want my new paint scratched up, plus I like the look.

Ye of little faith! Mounting would be bolt head welded to the inside of the wheel well, and treated with por15, and undercoated. Then a nut and fender washer. No through holes

On my old 300D I just used the universal $14 ones from OReilly's auto parts. My wagon has the OEM mudflaps, and I LOVE them.

Reclining woman done in chromed plastic, with the chromed word PLAYA spelled out below, riveted to the flaps.

do you have any pics of how the universal ones looked on your 300D?

the OEM are super cool, but I don't know if the local kids who have stolen bits off other cars outside work would go nuts for a mercedes symbol mudflap or not. With that in mind, im thinking no markings.
