I just did an oil change with this stuff at this price and picked up an extra gallon. I may get one more before the sale ends. I'll save 2/3 on my next oil change.

This oil is awesome for starting in the bitter cold like we're having now. I started the 1972 220D at only 17deg outside with no problem.

I don't see it in the 6 page flyer. What page?

[edit] I see it in the fine print under Delvac 1300.

Doesn't meet spec for the 606.962 anyway.

MOBILE 15/40 ,, NOT MOBILE 1 5/40 ,, Big difference!
5/40 is synthetic 15/40 isn't and $12.99 isn't a deal, I guess it is at Autozone because there oil is ridiculously expensive to begin with, went in for a gal of Delo the other day for my work truck and it was $17.99, walked right out, 10.99 at Walmart. I pay $19.99 for Delo full syn. 1 Gal. That's a good deal.

The ad I saw says "Mobil 1 Truck Diesel" with no reference to grade. AFIK all Mobil 1 oils are synthetic... to some degree.

Guessing its a typo based on the pics in the ad, the other two oils are Dino 15w40....there's no way they'd drop an oil they normally sell for around $30 a gallon to $13.

How so? Never heard anyone suggest that M1 TDT isn't a perfectly appropriate oil for a 606. If it's the 0W vs. 5W difference, that wouldn't concern me.

Not a misprint. Came up $12.99 at the register for M1 TDT and even had the sales tag on the shelf at the store.

Yup. I've bought three gallons of Mobil 1 Turbodiesel Truck oil at $12.99. I even had them recheck the price because I thought it was either a mistake or the oil wasn't included in the loss leader. But that's it, the special is a loss leader. They have them every month but usually they aren't this significant for folks.

yep that's what i paid, they were the only ones around with the filter and that price is the same as walmarts reg price so i save a stop and a little fuel and bought it all there, in the future i will get my consumables from AZ and oil from waleworld, I hate that place but as broke as i am now a buck is a buck...
