Hubcap retaining clips

Anyone have a line on these for a reasonable price? I only need one, but on ebay they come in sets of 5 for about $30, plus $10 shipping to Canuckistan. I only want 1 or 2, and don't want to dump more cash on them than I have to.

Thanks in advance.

You can buy them individually at the dealer (if there is one near to you). I often find the parts prices there are mad - but sometimes they are cheaper than advertised elsewhere - and sometimes they are a bit more expensive; but when you factor in postage and arsing about waiting for couriers the little bit extra isn't all that bad to suffer. I'd go and check there.

The dealer is, I agree, very competitive on small items which are hard to find elsewhere.... and No shipping. Do you need the clip for steel wheels or the aluminum ones which take the wheel covers.

Metal or plastic? If metal I should be able to help since I know I have a box of them somewhere.

The dealer is a good option though.

Dealer wins - $3.75 each (or maybe $7.25 depending on vin#) and will be here tomorrow. The parts guy debated at length about the part # I need over the phone, he had no reply when I pointed out the likelihood of wheels being swapped on a 30 yr old car.

Anyways, I'm to bring in a wheel cover this afternoon and he'll match the part.

I was expecting a less exciting result considering my recent attempt at buying an oil filter from the dealership.

The metal ones are the cheaper ones. I know there are a few members looking for the plastic ones since they are so expensive from the dealer. I got lucky and found some on eBay a few years ago.

Took the wheel in and was told I needed the more expensive part. The warehouse showed 7 in stock. I told him I'd take 1. He looked at me in shock, like I was supposed to scoop all of them. I wonder what I'm getting. Is it worth reporting back for such a small part?
