Clearing Your Squirters Fast!
I went to Lowe's and bought a "drain cleaning bladder", the 1.5-3 inch size, for $11.00.
I cut it with a razor blade as you can see in the photo, using one of the ribs as a guide to make a straight cut. ![]() I screwed it on a garden hose, put the cup over the clogged squirter and had my Fearless Helper turn on the water. Within seconds, the water was squirting out the other squirter. I repeated the process on the other squirter. I now have 4 strong jetstreams washing the windshield from the two squirters, instead of one and a half wimpy streams. No messing around under the hood disconnecting hoses, etc. A fast, simple, cheap fix.

I had clogged nozzles a couple weeks ago.
I removed them, soaked in vinegar for 5 min then hit with a blast from the air compressor.

Grabbed a sewing pin from my wife's sewing kit and poked around the nozzles.
If that didn't do, I took out the pick tool from my toolbox. Also useful to align the nozzle stream. Not sure which car you're pertaining to, on my former 190E the washers were strong. It had new nozzles and new pump. My w123 300D, I don't use the washers as much but the strength of the stream appears weaker. I removed the originals (2 nozzles on driver side, 1 on passenger side) and replaced with new (2 nozzles per side), but the pump is original. Maybe I'll swap the pumps over.
