Yes.....and your dial indicator is ' in line' with the valve... etc...? What length extension did you need for your dial indicator ?
You did a great job with pics of the end of the cam... why don't you post pics of your measurement set up for all to follow ?

It's not perfect. My dial indictor as "as-vertical-as-I-can-manage-to-get-it". Which is to say, it's not pefectly vertical. My dial indicator has 1" travel, just like the one in the peachparts wiki article:
PeachPartsWiki: Measuring Timing Chain Stretch

But, I removed it completely from the engine and set it up again from scratch for the second test. I still got an identical reading the second time around, so I'm pretty confident in the reading.

The ONLY difference between my setup and that of the wiki article is that I used a longer coupling nut to attach the dial indicator holder to the valve cover stud.

Well, my setup is pretty much identical to the one in the wiki article above. I don't see how I could really improve on it.

I am going to go over it briefly via my Youtube channel. I'm doing regular video updates on the project. I can post a link here when the video is live. Once again, it won't be a full DIY - just an overview as part of this week's update.

I was looking at the specs for a 617 engine when I made my determination. I checked again, and I'm pretty sure I'm around 13 degrees. But, I have a 616.912 with the 19 camshaft, which we've determined matches up to the specs for the 10 camshaft. So, the spec for a worn-in chain on that is 11º.

So, I'm a little beyond that, but not to the point where I'm going to worry about it yet. As of now, the plan is to leave this chain in place and check/monitor this at every valve adjustment.

I can only assume that they re-released what they had and didn't bother to update the contents!
