I guess if I ever need the side I don't have, I can stick a universal trailer light back there. It won't be pretty, but it'll pass inspection!

Mike, thank you so very much for this information!

The reason for the thank you is looks like now manufacture tail light lenses for the other vehicle I own, just hope actually fit (other aftermarket the fit was lousy).

However, they no longer provide an option for Mercedes 300TDs.

Mark, post up what side you are looking for and maybe one of us has it.

I'll check the spares bag on my rear floor, but I don't really need the other tail-light yet.
I just like to grab what I can at the Pick-N-Pull - especially hard to find spares for my wagon. I wish I'd had more time & storage room to get some of the other stuff (tailgate, windows, rear doors, etc....) off that Euro 230TE a few years ago. Getting the complete set of Euro wagon bumpers was my major score off that car. Though, while I'd love to put my wagon back to it's Euro glory, I still want to be able to keep using this car in today's hazardous traffic. So I do appreciate the robust US bumpers that are on it now.
