Euro 300D Clutch disc?

quick question

my euro 300D (NA 617 w/ super rare flywheel) needs a clutch job. Is the clutch kit the same as the 240D since the parts catalog here doesn't list a euro 300D

thanks

Yes

Note that later 240s had clutches for 26 spline gearboxes so make sure you get the right one

You won't find the 26 spline disk listed for the 240 stateside because it was only put in the euro 240.
The US 190 had a 26 spline clutch that is the same size and may work. There appeared to be a difference in the vibration dampning springs on the 190 disk so I didn't try it on mine, though I would have if I hadn't needed the car up and running so badly. I ended up ordering mine through the classic center and paying dearly for it.

Did you ever get this done?

I am afraid that my euro will need the clutch, as it is slipping but I will make the tool first to confirm.

Though it is my only mode of transport, I can't keep it apart for two long trying to source the parts

There are places that reline clutch plates. Usually today the end cost over a new clutch plate is also an advantage. About fifty dollars fairly locally.

The same pressure plate should be a common and easily sourced item.

I used the 240 clutch kit. I haven't driven the car a lot yet, but it engages, feels right, and sounds right.

My 85 Euro, 5 spd, TD uses the same clutch disc as my US spic 240Ds. I haven't had to put a clutch in the Euro 240D yet.
