OM606, flexplate replacing 722.4 with 722.6?

Hi everyone!

I've successfully made a swap to an OM606.910 (NA from w124), sadly the 722.4 automatic that came with it won't do in an old G-wagen and a final gear of 4.88. I'm looking to replace it with a 722.6. I've never worked on transmissions before, I barely know the parts involved. I'm getting a separate controller unit, so the electronics should be sorted out.

Anyway...

Question: When getting the 722.6 transmission from the scrap yard, need I buy a compatible flexplate? Or can I use the flex plate from the 722.4?

Thanks for any assistance!
