turbo to nonturbo

I have a 1984 300td with a dead engine. it is a gray market vehicle so the engine is non turbo. I bought a good running turbo 300d engine figuring that I could make the necessary changes. From what I understand the pumps are different and also compression is slightly higher on turbo engine at least according to the haynes manual. the other part is the self leveling pump, there is no real bracket on the new engine but there is a bolt covering an oil hole. wondering if it is possible to attach the leveling pump to this engine and also will removing the turbo be workable. the donor engine comes from a 1983 300d sedan. any help, views, opinions will be appreciated. thanks
