1999 E300 TurboDiesel Fuse Diagram

Hi guys,

My wife had a well meaning guy reverse polarity when trying to jump start her 1999 E300D resulting in quite a few fuses being blown.

The battery wasn't low and didn't require a jump start..... long story...… So, my charging system is working correctly and was not damaged.

I have found several blown fuses in the mani fuse panel, driver's side fender and am looking for the fuses that supervise the driver's side window and the CCU blower motor.

I find the fuse diagram a bit confusing as when the fuse description is shown for a particular circuit, there are often several numbers associated and some numbers have an asterisk next to them but there is no key that tells me what the asterisk implies. Nor do I understand why some fuses for example: "Fuse so and so 4,7,(11)*……. What does that sequence of numbers interpret into?

Thank you for any replies
