Hi Dan
Im also from the UK and would you believe have just done that job on my W126 manual. You ll need six bushings in total. If you have a pit you can do it in less that an hour. Do the ones at the gearbox first and start with the middle one.

Don't know about the kits.

So I have a 1983 w123 300d 5 speed manual. I need to replace the linkage bushings and clips.
Think I need three new bushings and 6 retaining clips.
Can anyone shed any light on the actual part numbers , or a complete available kit please?

Cheers

Dan

Hey Mj

Actually picked the parts up from the dealer today.
I’ve got the 3 big bushes for gear box end and 3 little bushes for gear stick end and 6 retaining clips.

I could possibly use a pit at work, as long as I don’t get caught, ha ha.
Did you remove all the linkage Rods and do them on the bench and re fit, or all in situ?

Cheers

Dan
