Flywheel to crank bolt PN help

Howdy,
I’m working on a new project. Got a manual gearbox set up to swap into my ‘92 300D. Got a 717.437 gearbox and a dual mass flywheel PN 602 030 06 05, clutch, pedals, custom modified trans mount, custom sized driveshaft.

I am having a little trouble finding the stretch to yield bolts to mount the flywheel to the crankshaft. I have some bolts that I ordered but turned out to be the wrong bolt. Size on those is m10x1x28. Part number 0089900504. Too short

I have the 8 bolts that came with the set up and I measure them at m10x1x60. I have seen specs used to measure other stretch bolts but I havnt seen those numbers for these bolts. These bolts have been tightened only once before so I am considering reusing them.

Can anyone help me find the PN for these bolts?

Ptt:

If those bolts have a necked-down stretch area, they probably also have the same new diameter of 7.7/7.5 mm, and a minimum diameter of 7.3 mm.

Right. Seems to make sense that there would be a spec to measure the stretch bolts.
Pulling some info for this thread

I will measure later today and see where they’re at.

Did you ping ARP? The folks over at S T D tinkered with this topic and I do not recall anyone saying bad things happened with ARP bolts vs MB dealer bolts. I recall some FW bolts are pretty pricey, e.g., $10 or more each so spending with tax & shipping $200 vs. $50

Now that the dust has settled off of Christmas and new years I finally got a new set of calipers and measure the bolts that I have. They all measure at 8.3mm. Per figure 03-1/5 In the linked thread above that looks like a good measurement for the bolts to be reused.

I did call and talk to someone at ARP. No dice. Guy told me that they don’t have anything long enough in their catalog. I also sent a message to MB classic center asking for help. Have not heard anything back from them yet.

Some bloke from over the big pond blessed me with this. (See pic)

Same number for the minimum shank diameter for the shorter bolts. Good piece of mind for me to have a bit more confidence to take the bolts that I have and SEND IT!!!
