240d Radiator (sans lower barbs)

Hello I wonder if anyone recommends any particular vendor for this. Mine is an EU/UK version and I am struggling to find one WITHOUT the engine-facing barbs at the bottom.

Engine facing barbs...auto transmission cooler connections? Not sure what you mean.

As far as I know, they don't make them without the trans cooler barbs (if that's what you're referring to). Pretty common with aftermarket radiators, you just don't hook up anything to the auto transmission cooler barbs if you are running a car that doesn't need them.

Sorry, yes, I have seen they are 'barbs' either for trans cooler or oil cooler lines. Mine is a manual so I don't need them. I guess I could just pick the cheapest one (this is just to get the engine running properly, not for a long term solution!) and get the properly threaded 'bolts' to block the two outlets.

Aye, my current rad is a Nissens 62710 which is not available in the US as far as I can tell. Can get one all day long in the UK but not here.

You don't need to block them off, the trans cooler is a separate cooler assembly inside the radiator. Nothing will leak out if you don't connect them.

I have this exact setup in my manual 240.
