Went to start my newly purchased 300CD with a brand new 5-day old battery.

Turn the key and nothing!

All accessory functions work perfectly fine.

No cranking or even a click from the starter when I turned the ignition.

Attempted to jump it just in case it was the battery.

After leaving it connected for 15 minutes I was left with no success.

What steps should I take to properly diagnose this?
