I have, sitting in front of me, a Hengst cannister-type oil filter part # E121H D01 that I received from a kind board member. We both had believed that it was for a 617 engine. However, the filter that came out of my engine was far longer and a bit wider than this filter. Fortunately, I had a second filter on hand, that fit in perfectly.

It looks like this filter goes with another engine. Does anyone know which engine it goes for? Also, does anyone want it? My other engine's a 6.9l Navistar diesel with an oil filter about double the size of my 617's, so I don't have any application for it...the first person who wants it gets it for the price of shipping (or, if the person lives in the Bay Area, I'll deliver it). I'd like it to be used; it's new and in great shape...just, I don't have an application for it.
