Does anyone know if the same tool is required to replace the seal on a W123 / 300td from 83?

Or indeed, if no, then if anything special is required?

My memory is too short!!

If you want to do it- but the seal kit and pinion nut. Make a removal tool from an old socket using the new nut.

Pretty sure it's the same tool
