Wow, a column shift. That brings back memories of driving a Dodge van with a column shift in college. I was delivering cleaning supplies and industrial foods. (I hope the customers didn't get the boxes mixed up)
I have to show this one to my son, who is now driving my manual 240D. I didn't know MB made column shifts.
