Bosch Euro bulb replacement

I did a search. I can pop off the wire bracket that holds the back of my euro headlight to get to the back of the reflector. There is what looks to be an aluminum bracket with the 3 prong plug going to the bulb itself. The base of the bulb seems to have broken off, so I have the 3 prong plug end out. The rest of the bulb is in the reflector, but hasn't dropped into the headlight assembly.

How do I get to the rest of the bulb?

Or could you give me standard directions on how to replace my main headlight bulb for a Bosch euro headlight?

It's not that hard to remove the light so I would just remove the light and shake the broken bulb out.

assembly is pretty solid

I can unscrew the light from the body of the car, but the front glass is on with metal clips that I'm reluctant to remove. I'd have to bend them up a lot and then possibly not have them as tight going back in.
Anyone with w123 Euro light experience in changing the bulbs?

I've had the lenses off my head lamps before and the only trick to those clips is to try not to chip the glass. Otherwise they are not that hard to pry off. They go back on just as easily and hold just as well as before. I took my lenses off to clean the inside surface and the reflectors. The lights are much brighter now.

The clip.

I think it's safest to pry the clip by sticking a screwdriver in the hole of the clip on the plastic housing side.

Confidence

Thanks! You've given me the confidence I need to pry these clips off. I'll let you know. My crummy digital camera doesn't come up with a good close up like the photo you posted. Otherwise, I would have added to my post in more detail.
