Window air deflectors for 300D : source?

Updated .. I found a set .. I expanded my search over at Google and came up with a set.

Here

Morning,

Does anyone know of a source for window air deflectors? I've got a set on the xtra cab Ford and they do a great job of cutting down the wind noise. I've searched the web but can't find any (smoke or chrome) that are for the ('85) 300D. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Fritz,

I purchased a set for my 190DT from weathertech (works well). They only have one's for the front door for my '84 and your '85. Here's the link.

Yes, I ordered a set. Weathertech is the only company I believe that makes them for the 300D (123) from what I gather. With these, and the rear window down a tad I should be able to cruise in relative silence and calm with the drivers window wide open.

Fritz,

I've been looking for window deflectors to fit my 300SD for a long time and couldn't find any.

Thanks for your post that allowed me to find where the deflectors can be purchased.

I always thought "if these cars only had "wind wing" windows that would make them perfect. So how do they look on a 123? I cant tell by the pic but I sorta think of sun visors, continental kits and fender skirts, Hope I haven't offended anybody but they dont look too much like an "add on" do they? Anyone got a pic??

I just got them for my W124 from weathertech, I had to call them my model was not listed on the website.

They look great, were a bit of a bugger to install because the tab that slides in didnt want to go into the channel. I put some soap on them and also used a heat gun. I'll post a pic later

I primarily got them because the darn front defroster only works on high heat and high fan- don't know if this indicates a problem with my climate control or not.

I have had them on my "85" 240 and have made several road trips since I denounced them five years ago. They are not as effective as the old "wind wing" and they look a little dorky but they are nice in weather conducive to driving around with the window open. (couple months a year around here)

Best feature of these things is the ability to lock your car up with the windows cracked w/o worrying about rain getting in or the car getting too hot during the summer. My cars are SO much cooler in the summer when I can leave the windows just 2/3 of an inch or so open!
