Hi,
I am having some issues with my 1995 Starmarked wagon (50K). Recently, the leveling system was failing to keep the car level. I had four 17" AMGs with tyres in the back [for the 500... ![]() ![]() The dealer made some adjustments. It appears that he only adjusted the level controller rod while placing load in the back. Now the car rides literally like a boat. It never was designed to be a BMW, but I owned a 300TE for 30K miles and never did the car show so little road feel. Squat, yaw and dive have increased tangibly since the service visit. It literally wallows around corners and has lost steering feel (tyres are pilot XGTZ4s-highly communicative). Finally, both rear struts and pressure reservoirs were recently replaced. I dont want to take the car back to the dealer yet, since he doesnt appear understand the way it should be. Any ideas as to what is going on???? Many thanks in advance farrukh |
